In 2012, the Metropolitan Entertainment Centre reopened its doors, following a significant transformation into a 1,000-person conference, banquet and meeting facility. The ambitious project included the restoration and preservation of many of its historic elements, bringing the MET back to its past grandeur. The Met’s original stairway leads visitors up to a beautiful new outdoor patio above a significant addition that provides new revenue opportunities for the client, and allowing for the inclusion of modern amenities crucial to the viability of this important heritage building in the centre of Winnipeg’s booming SHED District.
